Jira Server

FYI, Jira Server integrations require providing a username+password pair. We suggest that you generate a HipSpec Bot account if you have additional seats available. This is not ideal, but Atlassian has not added an API Key functionality to their server offering.

Using your Jira Server Credentials in HipSpec

Navigate to the new integration page for your group. (From the group page, look for Integrations, then ‘New’)

Then select Jira Server

Then enter the Password for into the appropriate box as shown below. We recommend a short name to identify your integration. You will select the specific project it will save to in the next step. If managing multiple projects

Note, when you visit Jira, there is a subdomain that is unique to your company - we need that. Please provide the whole url, including https Example, if your browser bar shows https://jira.awesome-corp.net, put https://jira.awesome-corp.net into the box labeled Custom Host

Select a project destination for imported Story Specs.

Click Test!

A notification should pop up with a link to the generated story. Click it to checkout your completed integration. It should look something like the image below.
